So I moved my birds into their own room. Their dust promtly doubled.

So I'm wondering how many of you use air filters for your birds?

What kind of air filter do you use or recommend?

Any ideas, I plan on buying one and thought I'd see what everyone here has to say.

I expect you to WOW me with your brilliance here people. :thumbu: lol

I don't have one, but a lot of people suggest getting the HEPA Air Filter. I've heard not one bad thing about them, and they work brilliantly people have said. :)

A true-HEPA air filter is a cockatiel owner's best friend. Be sure to vacuum off the pre-filter periodically - the interval will depend on how many tiels you have. This is what four cockatiels do to an 11x16 inch filter in two weeks:

I currently have 10 tiels in the house and it takes about 4 days to collect that much powder.

OMG I wonder what they do to it after a week,
I always seem to have dust on the top open dome on my cage with them,
but I do give my birds warm baths and mists 1 a week which reduces that snow lol
