I'd love to see what type of cage or aviary you have for your cockatiels! It would be helpful to people looking to set up a cage for a new tiel too! :D

This is mine, it's dimensions are 18"d x 30"w x 33"h.

I have Cookie and Bailee in it and they seem to have lots of space, so both them and me are very happy with it.:)

Wow! Everyone's cages are awesome! This is a picture of my tiel's cage. Currently houses Puppy, Sampson and their 4 babies <3 Puppy is currently taking her break from parenting and grooming herself on the playtop :)

The wooden perch that runs down the middle of the cage is pretty dirty. I have the nest box in securely, but for some reason I have it in my head that if I take it out the nest box which touches it will come crashing down...and that would be horrible. D: So I figure it can be a little dirty since mom and dad dont spend a lot of time out anyways and currently their poops inflict mass amounts of damage! Haha.

@Dizzy- I actually got the cage for free about 3 years ago when I adopted a cockatoo. The cockatoo died about a year ago, and decided to move my tiels in. The bar spacing on it is probably bigger than most would suggest, but mine dont seem to have any issues with it. I have seen ones like it posted on craigs list pretty inexpensively.

@Sarah, your cage is amazing! Those are some lucky tiels!

Hello, I am a new tiel owner! We have had Teeter (male) for about 3 weeks now. I am learning that his current cage is not good for him. I have been researching cages for days now, trying to find the perfect cage within my budget. One question I do have, some of the larger cages have thicker perches, is that okay for him? Can anyone recommend a website with good cages for the price. I am trying to stay at or below $150.00, if possible. I need something sturdy with others pets and children. Thanks.

I would like to recommend a couple cages that are a really good size for a good price and are very popular, if you look through this thread some members may have posted pics of these cages here. Now you can search for these yourself as well on google if you like:)

the A&E flight cage, http://www.amazon.com/CAGE-CO-32-Inch-21-Inch-Sandstone/dp/B004MZV1Q6

The HQ Flight cage, http://www.amazon.com/HQ-32x21-Flight-Stand-Birds-Pure/dp/B002UTU7X4

The prevue Flight cage is cheaper than the one above and BjKnight93 has a picture of it posted above your post, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B002UTU7X4&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0JW64FV3DGYW51AFWQ8H

Since I don't think I've posted photos of Hermes' cage on here in a while I thought I would post new photos I just took of it.
This is his cage/set-up; he is located in my art room which is basically the bird room, lol. Eventually I want to buy hanging swings, boings, orbiters, etc to hang from the roof in there. :D

I re-arranged his cage the other day and he seems to like it more! :)

He hasn't used his play stand yet (I just bought it a week ago) but it's been sitting beside his cage since then so hopefully he's used to it by now! I just put it on top today.

Hope you like! :D

I like it! Nice setup with some good essential stuff in there. Yeah, having a play stand can sometimes seem like having a whole new cage to a bird. My cockatiel didn't like getting onto hers until I enticed her by hanging up some millet spray. She hasn't fully adjusted to it but at least knows that it's safe, haha.

For sure! Although he doesn't seem to care much for toys, which is why I don't have tons in there. I have heard him playing with his bell lately though so maybe I'll get him more!
Oh and thank-you very much! Most of my animals are named after some Mythological something or other, gods or goddesses and such. :)

bjknight, Thanks for mentioning it on the forum, yes its awesome. I cant wait to put my 4 babies in it!! Whats even better was Petland closed down and everything was 75% off so i bought tons of toys ,swings, rope perches etc to fill it up !! On the website they say its grey but its actually a sand colour, really pretty !!
