Here is my Cockatiels cage:

Currently has 11 Cockatiels in there, with plenty of room. ;)

Thats cool dallytsuka!:D

I love the cage, because it has that fancy/home-like look. Most cages you find that big look like, well, bird cages. hahaha.

ya im impressed with mine for sure! its a great cage, even though it doesnt have horizontal bars..... my two have no problem climbing them

Oh that is so cool! I didn't know there were extensions for this type of cage!

its not really an extension its actually a breeding compartment for finches as this was a finch cage... its a previously used cage from a finch breeder

Wow, they must have had alot of finches for such a large cage!:D

Does the other compartment come off, or is it built in?

it comes off. its a whole separate cage that just sits on top of the stand. its no longer in use as tsuka is being good and is sharing a cage with dally again. so the top cage will be taken out of storage for when my boyfriend brings one of his chinchillas down for a visit. also, i gotta use the top cage for a new kitten so she has a safe place to stay when im sleeping or out so my 5 year old cat jessie doesnt attack her. its big enough for her, her toys, litter tray, and food for a week or so. and its just for a place for her to stay so she doesnt wander and get hurt by big angry jessie lol jessie hates other cats....

she had show finches in it. and she no longer had them when she sold the cage to me. i love this cage... its big, roomy, and i can hang large swings and stuff that i make in there and it works nicely. dally even has room to fly a little bit too.

Wow...these are really big cages...I was just wondering..no offence to any1..but r u guys able to afford spending so much on ur pets with an average salary..or is it like u people r realy rich...coz I dont have a tiel yet but when I do get one, I dont have so much space in my room to have such a big cage..plus I dont think Id be able to spend so much on one...

Well, most of us definitely aren't rich! However, since we are from different countries, "rich" may mean different things to everyone. Instead of buying new clothes or getting my hair done, I spend it on my birds.
I got a HUGE cage for $250 US. You can get a decent sized cage for $100 US.
Some people even get cages like this second hand for only $25-$50 US.

haha i only wish! i spent $80 canadian on my new cage! it was second hand however! nothing wrong with going second hand! more affordable!

Arnie's cage is a little small but he's hardly ever in it anyway. I want to buy one that's at least twice the size of this one, ideally larger for when I get Arnie a friend :) I'm keeping my eye out for a bargain though. This cage is only a couple of months old so don't want to rush to replace it just yet. Anyone from around Brissie/qld know of a cheap cage lemme know!

I don't know how to do thumbnails (this is from photobucket :D). Here is my cage for my Cockatiel, it says cockatiel on the sticker so... yeah. This was a cage I had for my Parakeets (when they were still with me :(). My Mom and Dad cleaned the cage with water and bleach and directed by the person who I bought Skye from.

There is two doors, the one in the front and there is one at the top -- hence the L shape
