Looks as if you old cage would have fit in the same spot without the stand. I hope you still have it. It's always handy to have an extra cage. If you need to separate a bird that is ill or just to have another place to put Jojo when you do a major cage clean.

oh you will LOVE that cage.....mine was the best money i have EVER spent...it makes life so much easier an so much room for the little sweeties to have fun!
I'm glad to hear it..... i've been debating about what cage to get all week. That was the best cage for size and price. It's £69, free postage from that site, and today i saw it in our local garden centre for £99!!

elijahfan... it's a step down, but it's actually ok. So long as Jojo has plenty of time outside of it, as you say. :)

I've been "hanging around here" for over a year now, so I guess it is about time to Post my cage. It measures 26"x 19 3/4". I bought it for my two budgies. After one budgie died, and I purchased my cockatiel Peek-a-Boo (in June of '07), I moved Jellybean out of it and Peek-A-Boo in. I felt guilty about moving Jellybean "down to" a
19 1/2" x 15" cage, but Jellybean seemed to love it. If and when I get another bird, I'll purchase one of the double flight cages and move Jellybean back into this one.:)

yeah he does get out time, but i can never get him back in lol,

my old cage is all in one so i cant get the top off, allso its way to heavy to get up stairs

i was thinking of looking for a big one that comes off the base or maybe make it so the is the cage if that makes sence but i am rubish at making stuff

Here's Misty, about an hour after moving into her new cage. It's eggshell white..... matches the walls.... shame it's not staying in there! We're still figuring out the layout, and whether or not to keep the platforms. I'd really like some new long rope perches, and maybe some branches.

Very nice flappy! :D
Isn't it funny how difficult it is to "decorate" a new cage? Whenever I re-decorate one of mine, it takes me hours. I have lots of "stuff" to change in and out, which seems to make it more difficult, rather than easier. You always hate to take out their favorite thing. In time, Misty will let you know if she likes the platforms or not. Congratulations on your new cage!

I redid Harley's cage last week after I went for a walk in the nature reserve, since I managed to collect a lot of nice eucalypt branches and river stones. I also added the little snuggle tent and a coconut husk filled with shredded paper (which I sometimes put leafy greens in).

Well, Harley loves it. Quinney's still in quarantine. I love seeing Harley sleeping in the tent, it's so cute! He loves tearing up the bark on the branches, he's always doing something in there. The best part is that it's completely free to replace the rocks, branches and banksia leaves.

My current cage is 13" deep, 18" long and 19" high. Too small I know, but I'm currently waiting on a cage to be ordered in at the pet shop (it can take up to a month or longer!) and I think it's pretty much the same size as a lot of others on this forum seem to have.
Let's see, I think it's 30 - 32" long, 19" deep and around 33" high. I can't wait!! I wish it'd hurry up and get here!
As soon as I get my new cage, I'll post some pics! I'll take some of my current cage as well.
Here's a photo of his current cage:

He's got a rope perch and swing, a natural branch and 3 toys in there at the moment. I try to have him out as much as possible. I don't like that cage much because of it being too small - in my opinion anyway.

Cocoa's Cage

This is the inside of Cocoa's cage. Every week I change the toys and some of the perches to prevent boredom. I have no water dish as Cocoa learned right away to drink from the Water Buddy. Its like a water bottle only better. It has a no drip drinking valve.

I sorta re-done the cage that has the 3 babies and the 2 girls in it. They've got another few perches, more toys and some other stuff. :D

I still gotta do the boys cage, will do it on the weekend maybe.

My little Cocoa caught on right away to the Water Buddy. At first it played with the water spout and once I saw it was drinking from it, I took out the water dish. Before I put in the Water Buddy I never saw Cocoa drink from the water dish. Now I regularly see it drinking. It is so nice to have fresh and clean water all the time.

Here's Jasper's Cage:

It's the recommended size for Tiels, but I would LOVE to upgrade it. I know his cage looks empty, but he has lots more stuff in it now. When I go home for Christmas I'll post another picture. He has one of those curvy thingies (late night sorry) now and I put it high up and it's kind of large so his feet don't curl around. He loves that thing, I want to get more, hopefully wood ones to replace those in the pic, but I haven't decided on it.

Solace your cage is SO creative with the way the sticks are and stuff. I like it. :)

K so I fixed up Jas's cage for Christmas and I am so pleased with myself. I hope he learns to use all the new stuff.
