I first became aware of this forum while posting on Talk Budgies, then my memory was refreshed while searching for information on cockatiels on Google.

 

Hi all! I found this site when I Googled whether essential oils are safe around cockatiels or not.

A friend on another forum mentioned this forum.

Since cockatiels are my favorite species of bird, I thought I would check you guys out.

Ah... Please don't tell my heartbird, Sunshine Senegal, that I said cockatiels are my favorite species of bird. Sunny is.... opinionated and sensitive. (wink, wink) You understand, I am sure.

Hi, Dave! I've checked out the site many times in the past, but only decided to join recently as I'm desperate for advice about my darling girl's recent vomiting. Sorry I posted about it under "Introductions"-- it was a beginner's error, probably also due to my distress about Louie. Thanks for providing this venue to share experience, questions, advice and cockatiel passion.

 

I've frequently googled for advice on our flock, and topics here always come up. I eventually decided to join.

 

I Google searched for "cockatiel forums". This was pretty much the first one.

 

I am getting a baby cockatiel in a few weeks and was frequently searching google for a variety of things. The links that came up from my searches almost always contained multiple links back to here. There is so much combined knowledge throughout this forum!

I did a search for Cockatiel forums. ^.^' I did the same thing after rescuing a family of Chinchillas about 5 years back, they were helpful on that forum so I figured it would only make sense to do the same thing for my tiel - particularly because I know very little about the more detailed aspects about them.

 

I found this place by accident on google search when I was looking up answers to questions about cockatiels that I had

I typed in Google, something about why my cockatiel won't grow his tail feathers back and talk cockatiel was the second or third listing.

 

I Googled a few different things regarding cockatiels in an effort to refresh my memory, as it's been over 20 years since I owned my first/last cockatiel and now that I have two cockatiels I'm trying to see what's new as well, so I figured I may as well join.

 

I found this site through search engine, while searching more information for taking good care of my cockatiels.

Hi there, I found you through Google. I was searching for information about cockateils to help me with my bird Puff. I have hand reared Puff from hatchling and needed to know a bit more about diet, what to do and what not to do. I have since learned not to scratch her back. Hello just online by chance. Maybe id been googling a cockatiel question?
