Cabbage is dangerous?!

I just did my weekly veggie shop and bought a cabbage, thinking Murray would like it given that he lives sprouts and kale. Being a newbie I always double check online if a food is safe...and it turns out people are saying cabbage both is and isn't dangerous!

Ow can this be when the same sites say that kale and sprouts (same family, right?) are safe? Does anyone on here know why cabbage is contentious and whether or not it really is bad?

Thanks! X

Cabbage is absolutely not harmful for cockatiels. My cockatiel loves cabbage. He finishes his cabbage in two days. When the first time I gave it cabbage it hardly ate seeds. He loves cabbage then any of his veggies. In fact I try to give him enough cabbage as possible. You should really feed your cockatiel cabbage. I am sure he will love it.

Well welcome to the forum! I'm pretty new too. To ask a question go to "forum home" on the left of your screen when you log in. Pick the relevant forum from the list, and then go to "forum tools" which is sort of at the top right of the box where all the current posts are listed. Choose "post new thread" and ask away! It kind of depends who is on and when as to the response you'll get. Most questions get at least one reply though, and you can always search the forum to see if anyone else has asked it in the past :)
