Just wondering when male tiles generally lose their wing spots. Lorenzo went through his first molt completely now. He lost all his tail barring but didn't lose any spots under his wings.

wing spots

A lot of it would depend on what mutation Lorenzo is. Bennie is a pearl pied and still has some ghost pearls. Because he is pied, he still has light colored spots elsewhere. I have never had a normal gray male; but I would think they'd lose their "baby spots" at about a year.

It may take a couple molts, especially if he is split to pied. I had a male pearl split pied who didn't lose his pearls for over two years.

Lorenzo was a pet store bird. He was the only normal grey. All his siblings were white face greys. So I'm not sure if he is split to pied. I was just curious because he literally hasn't lost any of his spots.
