What Does this pair look like to y'all? I don't think they are what I was told they were, because I can't find a single picture that looks like them under the mutations I was told they were.

This is Jack and Jill (Jack is on the left), Jill is on the right

Jack from the back

Jill from the back (well partially)

here's what i was told they were

Jill- Silver Pied (no idea what sort of silver, but she doesn't have red eyes)

Jack- Emerald Pied

Jack looks like a Cinnamon pied to me. Jill looks like a Cinnamon Pearl Pied that is molting out the pearling. Which would make her a Jack too! I'm sure you're right though. It seems to me that all kinds of lines are being blurred where mutations come in. Could Jill be a Cinnamon Silver? Do Silvers have red eyes? Or would that be a fallow Silver? I have begun to suspect that Olive (Emerald) is a Cinnamon Lutino. I never thought a cross like that could show visually but There are conflicting reports about that.

no i have 2 cinnamon pearls niether of these are cinnamon

recessive silver has red eyes

the only pictures i can find of Emeralds have other mutations mixed in, I can't find a plain Emerald

Jill is a female, and Jack is a male

I know i read Emeralds have markings like a pearl (I thought he was a pearl when i first got him) then when I read that it made sense

I was trying to find out about spangled recently and in some places they have something they call an Emerald Spangle. It has markings something like that but not as well defined as yours. Doesn't look anything like the Australian Spangle either.

my boyfriend says he sees like a green tinge/haze on Jack - but I just can't see it , he's even picked up one of the feathers that jack lost and pointed it out to me and I still couldn't see it  - - Just goes to show how bad my eyes are - guess I can't deny it for ever huh lol

wouldn't ya know it , went on a search for pictures of a dominant silver pearl pied

and all i can find is Dominate Silver pearl and Double factor Dominate Silver pearl (which sort of looks like Jill) - trying to picture it with pied and that's not working well for me - but here's a DF Domaniate Silver Peral - (like i said sort of resembles her take off the tons of pearls and and add pied lol)

and here is the Dominate Silver Pearl

but I'm going to keep looking and see if i can find what I'm looking for

here's what I was told it was (with out the pearl though) but the guy wasn't 100% sure he was just going by what he was told
but to me the bird in this picture looks like it has red eyes???

this sounds like jack - but the pictures don't look anything like him

Olive or (Emerald Green)
The most recent cockatiel mutation first bred by Margie Mason in the United State . There has been much controversy over this mutation some people call them emerald green and others olive. Some of the birds appear to have a spangle pattern on their back . Some have an olive green wash over parts of their body . They range from dark
to light in color .
They are very good breeders and have 5 to 7 babies per clutch . When they are older and their flight feathers grow in they will have a yellowish green tint , the hens more so than the males .
