I hope ive posted in the right place i caught a pair of my cockatiels mating yesterday, (not planed they didnt have a nest box) i have given them one though as they was mating what mutation are they? the female looks normal grey, the male does also but he has a yellow patch on the bottom of his stomach (not pied i dont think) its mixed with the grey he also looks like he has a yellow wash all over him although he looks like normal grey, and ideas what mutation he is or what he is split to?

He could simply be split to pied. Split to pied will give a pied mark somewhere on the body (usually the back of the head), but it can be anywhere and even just a toenail sometimes...

I can help with their mutations if you'll post pictures. Of course, I won't know if the male is split and what mutations he can throw unless you have pedigrees.
