:rolleyes:OK...so here's the thing....Ms. Baby apparently does like Ziggy...quite a bit...I just read the thread about Cookie stooping down to Bailee's level and guess what...So did Baby. I got it on video too...but only part of it. My batteries died on me after. I have to go to my parents so I'll upload it later..just thought I should give you the update on my two brats..He's tried before but she never acctually let him mount her...well, I guess if you try for something hard enough you're bound to get it..?

hehe... Aly its ok we will take your word for it we don't need to see any x rated video of tiels mating :p You should probably try and discourage them, for a few months anyways till Ziggy is a bit older, the little stinker isn't even a year old yet  just do what I did I went over and removed Ollie and spoiled his fun

Ok...I won't post the video...I showed it to my mom but my dad said I shouldn't be taping it and he's got a good point...so I'll leave these intimate moments personal from now on. Ziggy was just about 6 mths so he's coming up on one year...within a month or so. We'll see what happens though. Although I'm not all for him mating under a year and a half, the one I would truly worry about as far as the age would be Baby because of the complications. For all I know he might not even be fertile yet. I've spent the afternoon thinking of best and worst case scenerios so I'll see how it all play out from here. To be honest, I'm relieved that she does like him because I've wanted grandbabies forever.

I agree with your Dad :p and this is just my opinion but I would find it a bit strange taping something so personal even if it is birds, I still think males should be older then a year before having babies, its not just the physical complications its the maturity level I would be worried about, a year old male cockatiel is a equivelent to a 15 year old human child yes its physically possible but is it really good for them and do they really know what there doing at that age? but there your babies and you know whats best for them :)

I have no idea what came over here though. He is always following her around with his annoying singing and heartwings, he's also attempted to step on her back with no luck but I guess all that persistance paid off....
I have been trying to keep them from doing that but it hasn't been an issue so far..
