i havw 2 cockatiels and have had to seperate them, the oldest is 15 and the other is around 12, father and son the youngest keeps sitting in the bottom of the cage rocking back and forth like hes nesting.....then out of nowhere he will attack the other one chasing him around the cage trying to bit him, whats going on???

Hello there and welcome to the forum!

Males can get very aggressive towards each other when their hormones are ramped up. That's good that you've separated them. There's no guarantee that two birds, even if related, are going to be friends. You can try letting them out of their cages together only if supervised, but if the aggression continues you will have to keep them permanently separate or one of them will end up injured.

You can try hormone control to see if it calms them down. If it works you may be able to have them together again. You can read about it in this thread.
