I think Kirby might be gaining weight again, though it's hard to be certain with all those fluffy feathers. There's a triple beam balance at Fallen Feathers, and he did well with that (he sat nice and still while I weighed him :)), but I don't take him there often, so I need a way to weigh him on my own. Is a triple beam balance a good way to weigh them? Kirby has clearly used one before me, so he's comfortable with one. If so, where do they sell them? Would they be at office supply stores, or maybe a bird store, or would I just have to get it online? If a triple beam balance isn't best (they can be somewhat expensive), then what else works and where can I get that?

Thanks!

I think most people here use a jewelry scale or kitchen scale. You want one that measures grams accurately. I put a bowl on the scale, zero it out, and then have the bird perch on the edge of the bowl. Works well for me. :)
