Hi this is my first time hand feeding a Cockatiel and I have had him/ her for nearly 3 weeks and I got him at 5 weeks so he's nearly 8 weeks old. When I got him the breeder said he was on 4 feeds a day and after a week I dropped him down to 3 feeds but he is still currently on 3 feeds still. I was going to drop the middle one this week but he seems hungry mid afternoon making the hungry noise so I have kept it going. I'm not in a huge rush to wean him but have read most at this age are on either one or 2 feeds a day not 3.he seems to eat pellets, seeds and a tiny bit of broccoli but I'm not sure how much he's actually eating. Should I cut the middle feed out and will this encourage him to eat more on his own. Don't want to starve him. He's only eating around 7 to 10 ml each feed. Any advice appreciated
