Thanks for the welcome back! I haven't named her yet I can't come up with the perfect name she is so sweet! She was parent raised but loves me so much that if I even leave the room she does the baby call till I come get her. The poor little one also trys to fly to me when ever she sees me.. So I kinda have to run over to her so she dosn't crash:)

Thats terrible I would print out instructions and put it in her mail box.
I am so going to do that! His wings look like she cut straight across and never pulled his wing out to check which ones are being cut.. Oh and I know it dosn't work for all but for some it is a great artical especially if it means you don't have to do a dna on your bird!

FYI post 200 yay!

Believe me I know what you're going through. When I got Ziggy his wings were BUTCHERED! It looks like they did it in the dark or something! He had so many problems with blood feathers too as they were growing out..:( he's finnaly doing better now and they've started to grow out but they still look butchered. It'll take a good while to get some nice clean wings. PS> Congrats on post # 200.

some mutations like pied can not be visually sexed, and need to be dna'd to be absolutely certain!....
there are a lot of things to look for when visually sexing.... some of them are personality things, but there is always the 'tomboy' or the 'mama's angel'... to throw you off...

Thats really neat! On the wing clipping thing it astounds me because all it takes is research.. pick up a book or go online or something. I would never clip wings till I got really good instructions... In my case I harrassed people in the wing clipping 101 post untli I figured it out..
