UGHHHHH SO MUCH PROBLEMS

Luka today was perfectly good so I got him out of the cage, our bonding progress.........TO TRASH!! i shouldn’t have listened to my parents when they said not to interact with him until his health is good. NOW HE STARTED TO EAT HIS POOP!!!!today morning I saw him at the bottom of the cage so I thought he couldn’t get up(because he isn’t a good climber) after I came out from the bathroom after a nice warm shower and A nice fall on the bathroom floor I went to check on luka, guess what happened........HE WAS EATING HIS POOP WHICH HAD DIARRHEA YESTERDAY!! When I looked at him he stared at me with his brown eyes then sneezed and now a few seconds ago HE DID IT AGAIN this time shaking his head. srsly I don’t know what to do with this little boy. He is only about 3 months old and I had him for a month now

Do you have a pull out grate at the bottom of the cage? If so pull it out and clean frequently with mild soap and water. People vary in their opinions about disinfectants on the cage material, but it was recommended to me by an parrot adoption group to use Veterinary wipes with peroxide. You can purchase them through Amazon. They leave a residue which kills bacteria and is safe for your cockatiel. Keep me posted.

I cleaned his cage in dawn, he also made alot of sounds (finally,for the past month he had been so silent but he seems to only make sounds at dawn)
