It certainly must be mating season, Lee has been so annoying lately he just doesn't want to leave Minnie alone singing and making all kinds of weird noises, he started with this new one sounds like he is laughing anyways he is driving her crazy to the point where I watched her grab his crest and pull I even saw a feather drop out boy did he let out a scream but he still never learned his lesson he went right back to it a few minutes later, I do have to say I get a kick out of it when he walks up to her gets close to her face and says "whatcha doing" and then wolf whistles at her thankfully for the most part she just ignores him, I never realized how relentless a male can be when he is trying to court a female, I haven't seen this with Ollie yet and he is older, then again I think he is to afraid to try anything with Georgie :lol:

Poor Lee Too bad she did not pull out that kinked crest feather he had before I would just watch them close, so she does not try to beat him up. Our canaries had to be separated because the female would beat up the male because he wanted to mate and she did not want to.

Thats part of the problem Jaime he has mating on his mind and she doesn't he is trying his hardest to impress her and she is having none of it which is good because there both to young yet so I am glad she is not giving in, I watch those two very closely now because of whats going on and he doesn't allow her to preen him anymore when she tries he gives her a warning and she backs off so I think all will be ok if not I will have to separate them.

That's the clicker training that I started first off with Dooby Jaime, he freaked out at the clicker. I stopped it and then tried again just a week ago, but it was the same reaction, he really doesn't like the clicker, so I was getting double trouble.

Even though you start by clicking and giving a treat right away to condition him to the clicker Dooby sure is a smart one I guess a new friend is the way to go.
