spoke to the lady that i got bobby-boy from and she says that he was in a avairy with 3 pals and then to the pet shop with hes 3 pals. he misses them. i am thinking of getting him 1 of the pals, as he is sad and cries. she says he misses them. am i doing the right thing. sat/day i am going to get him. thanks for listening.

I think its always nice to have a friend, but keep in mind it might be harder for you to bond with him if you get him a friend I find for myself having 4, I got them all separately and bonded first with them before adding another, I think you said he is still scared of you right now so its something to think about but its ultimately up to you

They do enjoy having a friend around, but like Laura said bonding first would be better. If you don't bond first, and just get another tiel, they both will be interested in each other more than you. So taming/bonding may become difficult..but it's really up to you, if you think he is lonely! :thumbu:

i agree bonding takes time i was lucky when i found my breeder she hand feeds all her birds but she said not to get another till stretch and me bonded she did a home visit 1 month later stretch would not go to her but stayed with me but with sparkles took longer like 3 months she still came to me but was cautious
