Tiki is sitting on his playstation in the computer room and all of a sudden he started whistling and half talking a variety of sounds.... Wow, including part of the wolf whistle. Totally surprised me... I think he is as excited as I am.... more sounds just keep coming... all different, I need a video... think everything I have been trying to teach him is all of a sudden coming out in various combinations.... Oh I love it....

It was so exciting... I was playing Alan's video of 3 of his 9 tiels and Tiki started making this low sound in his throat and next thing I knew he gave me a whole concert of a wide variety of sounds, whistles and even one that sounded like barking. So funny....

But I have had Tiki for 2 months... this is the first sounds he has made other than his tiel chirps....

It has taken a lot of patience to get this far. Yes, I am very pleased. Since he is 14 months old , I really didn't expect him to talk or whistle at all.

That's so exciting!! You should see what whistles you can teach him now that he's started. Once they get the hang of a couple of simple ones they learn soooo fast.
