Hoping for help I have a cockatiel I've had him for 2 yrs when I bought him the man said I think he is 3 so he's roughly 5 he's a happy bird playing in his cage he's got toys eats and drinks very well he gets excited and acknowledges his name he responds to you he will get on a stick im holding but jumps straight back to his cage he trusted me a bit when I first got him he would jump on my knee but now he seems to be stand offish he will eat from my fingers not my hand how can get him to be friendly and truly trust me thank you

It’s weird that you’ve had him for two years and you’re just now wanting to tame him.... Try giving him some treats so he can get excited about you. Try giving him popcorn, my birds love popcorn.

Hello, I have an 9 month old female Cockatiel and she has been going to the bottom of her cage and I don't know if she is pregnant or sick, she has also been very rude to my other family members also and sometimes me(she likes me and others btw), if you know what's going on with my Bird thank you if not then I will give you sometime to think or find out

It’s weird that you’ve had him for two years and you’re just now wanting to tame him.... Try giving him some treats so he can get excited about you. Try giving him popcorn, my birds love popcorn.

I have been trying to tame hime I interact with him everyday he gets excited and everything in a morning when you go in to see him his cage is always open through the day he comes out has a nose and goes back in he gets very excited and noisy as if he wants you to play but when you try he backs off

If she is becoming very aggressive, then she is probably going to lay eggs. Do you have a male cockatiel?

No hes fine that way he just wants attention and olay but won't let you he gets treats all the time squaks for ages when he has not hanging up or if I run out I wants to he just doesnt
