I have just trapped my cockatiels tail and 4 tail feathers were trapped as he flew off.😭 He can still fly and is now preening himself. Have I done damage?do I need to take him to the vet? I feel awful x any advice welcome

I have normal greys, whiteface, pearl pieds, creamface cinnamons, and pearls.

No damage to the tiel, maybe just some hurt feelings. I once grabbed Buzz ( my whiteface male ) when he was being a turd at bedtime, he slipped out of my hand and all I had was his ENTIRE tail feathers left in my hand!!! I felt terrible for days but they all grew back.

If no blood hopefully okay but if you want to be sure I would suggest going to vet.
