I've started moving recently, and with the new house comes a lot of new outdoor space. However, the house itself doesn't really have a big enough area to store a giant aviary.
I'm looking to build a walk-in outdoor aviary for my cockatiel that can be de-assembled easily since most of the seasons around here are too cold for our birds, and I don't want to leave it (the aviary) outside in the elements for months. I also don't plan on staying at the new home for a very long time, so I'd need the aviary to fit on a trailer.
With this, I'm wondering what materials would be safest and most durable for birds. Any suggestions for the walls and how to keep them secure would be appreciated.
(I'll definitely do a lot more research before I attempt to build this, I'm just making a post here to see what others have in mind.)
