provide the correct band number in order for positive ID to be
confirmed and transfer to occur. No exceptions.

Still FOUND: MI, Farmington Hills, Cockatiel, May.14.07
This orange-cheeked, yellow crested cockatiel found me in Farmington
Hills Michigan on May 14 2007. I have contacted and been contacted by
people in the area and surrounding cities, who have lost their birds,
and have not made a match yet. It's quite possible that the bird came
from a further distance away. Other states, even.
The vet thinks the bird is a male. It is quite vocal and sings, and
has an annoying habit of making a car alarm sound. Unless it's not
very obvious, this one does NOT sing UofM or Andy Griffith, as many
tiels are reported to do. Approximate age may be 1-2; the vet thinks
he's young. Would rather not be handled. He protests but will
eventually perch on finger or stick. Crest is bright yellow, yellow
face, more paler yellow head/almost whitish, pale yellow/white
underbody, pale yellow tail. Dark grey back (with remainder of pearl
markings?), lighter grey chest.
If you lost your bird PRIOR TO or on May 14 2007, in Michigan or other
states and think this description applies to your bird, please provide
a photo of your bird, description of feet/nails if you can, whether
your bird was banded, and related information, and more details of
vocalizations and activity habits. Please understand that I am
committed to finding the correct owners of this bird and will not sell
him to anyone, nor can I submit his photo out of concern that someone
would attempt to claim him by copying photo and information and posing
as the owner! I hope to hear from his owner soon. Until then, he has a
good home. Thanks.
