Splayed legs

I have two hatchlings that are nearly ready to fledge. The pair is new, and at about 9 days old I identified that both babies had splayed legs. One was terrible, and one had one leg that was out more than it should have been but not awful. I used makeup sponges for braces, and it did correct it some. At about 18 days I decided I should switch to medical tape, but the parents wouldn't leave it on, so we went back to makeup sponges. The babies still each have one very wonky leg.
Is it too late to do more, or what would you suggest? I think they'll each be able to perch but it's not ideal. Beautiful babies otherwise.
