:tiel4k with me getting sparkles next friday is there anything special i need to do i have 3 tiel cages so when i get sparkles home she will be quaranteened for a month even though stretch came from the same breeder but different parents i no stretch has had the run of the house all to himself but i think he will be upset at first :tiel5:

After quarantine you can let them get to know each other slowly by putting their cages side by side (so they're neighbours) and letting them out individually for a few days so they can explore and see each other through the bars and get used to each other. I think you'll be surprised how easily tiels accept new comers into their flock.

Yup, what Bea said. I'm sure he'll be pleased to have her around. Baby was a little jelous at first since she was the only tiel (mommy's little girl) for a long time but she learned to share and now they get along great..

when i first talked to my breeder she was not going to sell me one from stretches parents but 3 weeks latter another unrelated pair laid 4 eggs 3 hatched 2 did not make it so out of that clutch sparkles was the only one and i said i wanted a female pearl and what are the chances of that so i paid the extra 25 dollars for a dna test and yes she is a girl but i was not supose to have her as this other guy bought a love bird and said he wanted her when she was ready but within 2 weeks of taking the love bird home in perfect health it died all he fed it was pellets grrrrrrrrrrrr stretch gets seeds lettuce veggies and scrambled eggs to my surprise he even tried a piece of orange so when lori called me and told me the sad news of the love bird i felt bad for her and was angry at the guy then she said you no what this means i said no she said you get sparkles i said yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee so she was happy that sparkles is going to come to me she said with you i have no problem you actually spoil your birds lol well enough gabbing have to get ready for a funeral

lol... ok I am confused at this morning you couldn't get her today and no this afternoon your going to get her thats great though I am glad things changed and she is coming home

she was waiting for today to see if she was still weaned she said she waits 1 week after there weaned to see if they are actually fully weaned and doing good and if bye chance sparkles does not want to eat all i do is give my breeder a call and she will come and get her and take steps so she does eat the veggies and seed
