I received an email from the woman that we were going to purchase the cinnamon white-faced female tiel from (the one with the feathering out problem) saying that she died this a.m. She said there must have been some genetic problem. I had not even gotten her yet & already I was crying on my way to work today. I'm so sad.

Thank you all for your condolences. I appreciate very much. I don't know yet what I'm gonna do about another bird. I already housed my 2 cockatiels together so she could have her own cage. I don't know whether it would be okay to break them up now or whether I will get another bird down the road sometime. But, thanks again.

So sorry to hear about your little bird. I don't think I would separate your two tiels now, if they get on ok with being in the same cage, they will probably miss each other and scream a lot, even if they are right next to each other.
