Tonight, when we were about to go have dinner we saw a cockatiel on the Broadway entrance of Columbia University (NY, Manhattan, Upper West Side). It was a pearl cockatiel, and looked like young, not more than a year old probably. Its wings might have been clipped because it wasn't flying very fast. I ran home and brought one of my cockatiels hoping that they would hear each other and we could save the bird. But it was too scared and wasn't very willing to give up the security of the tree. I posted an ad on craigslist but wanted to send one to you too.
I will try to go there before day break to see if it is still there, and will send another email.
