So, being the proper bird owner I am, I go to weigh Fluff Ball, Sideswipe and Firestorm's chick. I have all my hand feeding equipment set up, including a spiffy new gram scale I hoped and prayed was good enough. I got it at walmart in the kitchen area. Should work good, yes? I paid a decent amount for the beast. It better work.

The blasted chick is too light for my scale to read. Cue me flailing like Kermit the Frog.

I have a back up, manual scale. I fear it may not read my little stinker either. Ah well. C'est la Vie :D

Aww! That's a bummer. I bought a gram scale off the internet that is for weighing jewelry, and it starts at 0.01g. It wasn't expensive either. Maybe you could look into purchasing one. :)

I got mine off the internet too that I used to weigh my chicks. As long as the baby is growing you should be fine.
