So.. that's a fun start. I don't know how 'normal' this is, but my cockatiel Joy has always been one to forego her toys and food like 50% of the time to instead chew on dried poop on her papers. I think she does it specifically to annoy me. But at this point I've decided I'm fed up with it. I mean.. obviously it's gross. But is it UNHEALTHY? And how can I encourage her to chew on the 'good' things I provide instead? (and yes of course I change her papers regularly, but I'd have to change them like, every day to prevent this.)
Also, I'm sorry if this isn't the right section to put this thread, I'm new to using this forum .. (despite having made an account a while ago)
