My 16 year old girl, Frodo, was previously diagnosed with a Rhinolithe, which is a hardend nasal obstruction...sort of like dried out snot. It can grow and cause respiratory problems and a nostril deformity if not attended to . My vet poked it out with a toothpick last year but it came back. Has anyone had this problem and can I remove it myself to avoid another $75 vet bill? She seems ok otherwise.
