I have a nice almost square piece of new plywood. What kind of finish would be safe for my Cockatiels? Any suggestions please? I had trouble finding such a thing on the internet.

Olive oil runned in. It will soak into the wood and you will have to re apply 3 or 4 times. It's safe, looks nice and makes the surface water proof.
