By all means, please do post on your site. I did not realize from
our first email that this would be a possibility, especially as this
bird isn't a parrot. I purposely had not listed a description for
fear of anyone that wanted a free bird claiming it was theirs.

It is a cockatiel and the foster home we have lined up at the
moment is one of the people who replied stating they had
lost their beloved cockateil. I found out hers had been missing
for 8-9 months and knew it would not survive the winter here,
so this particular bird probably isn't hers. She's happy to take
it in though and agrees to me giving her number to anyone that
may be the real owners.

I've attached two pictures of the bird. Please let me know if they
don't show up for you, or if there's anything else I can offer to
assist in posting on your site.

We've also listed the bird on http://www.cockatie lcottage. net/lost. html,
so we hope to get as much 'out there' about it, as I know how I'd feel
if it was my pet that was missing.

Found:

-One domestic/exotic (non-native) bird found in City of Watertown (West side)
-Very tame
-Wings not clipped

Looking for anyone that may have lost a pet bird in the city recently
that would be able to describe the bird. (we want anyone who has
recently lost a bird to ID and describe it to us so we can make sure
this one makes it to his real and true home). If anyone has lost a bird recently in or near the City, please reply to see if this is theirs. Pleaseput "Lost Bird" in the subject.

Thank you.
