This little bird came to me with 50% of the feathers missing and was so picked on it was horrible. She had half a beak. The top beak was missing. SO, she couldn't hook on a cage and I don't know how she got her food.
I took her in and my 5 year old called her Princess which to me, meant I am doing my job right as a parent. She took her in and we loved her so much.
She passed recently because I cleaned my house with 409. The fumes were too much and she died.
I feel so responsible.
I miss her so much. Every day I think of her.
