Today, we made it onto my hand, up my arm, out of the cage, and eventually to my shoulder! Then, we slowly eased back into the cage so I could secure him and mentally high five myself. I was so excited that it was hard not to gush and giggle, which totally would have terrified the poor bird. I got him on the 24th and it’s my first ever bird. I’m just so proud we are bonding!
