Hello,
I'm a first time Cockatiel owner. Got ours 2 days ago. Her (assuming it's a she) name is Çarşaf. The seller said she is somewhere between 3-5 months old.

Is it possible to for you guys to determine its age? If it's older than 5 mo, will it be easy to tame?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there! Congratulations on your new bird! She's very cute. :) We can't determine her exact age for you, but if you can find out whether she's gone through her first moult yet you might get a slightly better clue on her age. As a general rule, the younger the better, though ultimately how easy she will be to tame will depend on the individual bird and your approach. Do read the sticky threads on taming and bonding (and the other sticky threads too!) Good luck! :)

Hello there and welcome to the forum!

Your 'tiel has the "baby face" look, but honestly once they are fully feathered it's very difficult to guess their age.
