Good afternoon, Thankyou for letting me join.

would somebody please be able to offer a little advice, an elderly friend has an aviary, which sadly as of today has only one cockatiel remaining. So is wondering if leaving the bird on its own will be too lonely/distressing for it and if it maybe be kinder to bring indoors in a large cage for company. It is elderly but appears to be in reasonable health. Just want to do the right thing by the bird.
many thanks for reading.

WELCOME to Talk cockatiels! In answer to your question, I sure don't think it would hurt to try this bird indoors and see how it goes. Would you be the one taking care of it? If at all possible, I would let it have plenty of "out of cage" time to fly around as long as you take a few precautions before letting it out. Just make sure there are no other pets such as cats or dogs etc. If you need (or would like) any more info. Always feel free to ask.
