i put him in the sink with some water on the bottom and then i sprayed him, usualy he goes in the shower with me before i soap up but i wanted to try it out. he was not a happy bird at all. he kept jumping out. and im worried about one of his tail feathers its starting to break in half

Spike broke all his tail feathers off They are starting to grow back, yet again. I would not worry too much about a broken tail feather as long as it is not a blood feather.

Ziggy has managed to break off all his tail feathers before I got him..like Spike said, if it's not a blood feather then it's no problem.
