Hi. I’m new to this forum.
ive been concerned about my cockatiels poop.
when I got her at 2 months she was on a seed diet. I gradually got her to eat a pellet diet along with seeds, veg. & fruit. That was a month ago. She was doing great. Now for about a week I noticed runny, greenish with a sm amt of dark solid poop. Kept an eye on it with no change. 2 days ago I put her back on a seed diet with vitamins & minerals in her water and almost immediately noticed a big improvement in her poop. Looking normal again. My ? Is - has anyone else had this happen with their Tiel on a pellet diet?

What type of pellets were you feeding your cockatiel? Did you change anything else?
I do notice a brief change in poop when I change some things in their diet such as a little bit different chop from before. But it quickly goes back.
A good quality pellet is really the way to go with some supplementation.
