Hi I am new to Tiel's, I've been researching them online and believe I would love to have a WF cinnamon Pearl. I have always had budgies in the past. The biggest concern I have with Tiel's is, their poops. Sounds funny but I'm used to budgie poop it is tiny and relatively dry and I'm wondering if Tiel is healthy what kind of food does it have compared to a budgie is it splattery??? I really need to know the answer to this before I go ahead and get a cockatiel. Thank you so much for your info

Generally, I found that they need a balanced diet with vegetables and fruit - which I can change their poop. With our boy, still young and mostly on a seed diet has poop like a budgie. Except when he drinks a lot of water. I must say even on days with his vegs and fruit diet I haven't found that his poop is a problem. He just poop A LOT 🤣

Thx so much! So would you think I should let it be free from cage as long as we're up during the day or would I be very sorry to see so much poop on my floors????

Pied Tiel Birde, Parrot Bird, Cockatiel, Lost & Found, Texas, The ... houses out front not thinking that they would have tenants but these birds put sticks
