Newbie here! Just got my first bird yesterday.

My boyfriend bought one of his siblings and theyre having a nice time together. Does it normally take them a while to open up? Bf's bird is super talkative and active already, my little dude just chills out. I assume its just because he's still weaning and is adjusting to his surroundings.
