Leo is my 8 weeks old baby.. i got him 3 weeks ago.. first time he saw me jump on my chest and sleep there... he's so friendly... and about to wean but he still scream wanting formula but he eat other food on her own.. hes eating less formula but still want it...i really like to see how hes look like after first molt.. my feeling says he's a boy... sorry for my bad english :D

can i ask a question ?
what is my cockatiel species? i know it is WhiteFace but what kind of WhiteFace ?
i really love to know.. he has silver marking... i search for it but couldn't find a match :(

Your cockatiel has quite the mixture of mutations going on! He looks to me like a whiteface cinnamon pearl pied.

No it's not a bad thing, it's quite special actually. He is going to grow up into such a beautiful, handsome cockatiel! He already is so gorgeous but their colouring really comes out even more bright and vibrant after their first molt.

Are you 100% sure Leo is a boy? If he is a boy, he will gradually lose those pearl markings as he matures and molts. If Leo is actually a girl, the markings will remain as they are.

thank you.. no I'm not sure if he's a boy or not.. but 3 of my Cockatiel owner friend told me that he is a boy but at this age its hard to know without DNA testing... i feel strongly he is a boy but maybe i'm wrong... here DNA testing cost so much and i have to do it in another city and not worth all the effort ... i wait for it... :wf grey:
