A lady gave me 3 birds (Cockatiels) yesterday becouse she said she has no time for them any more. A bonded pair a grey male a pied female and a baby from them that was born in January. There nice for the most part but a little thin i think, right now there in quarantine for a month or so. Here is a picture of the Mother (pied) and the father (normal grey)...be happy.

There realy cute what are there names? Do you have a pic of the baby? (sorry i love pictures lol)
If you are able to handle them you will be able to tell if there underweight by feeling the breast bone if it is boney on both sides and you can feel indentations then they could be under weight.If it turns out that one or both are under weight make shore its not down to the other one not letting it eat having said that i agree with Laura they both look fine to meIf your still not sure take them to an avian vet

Baby Tiel

Here is the photograph of the baby tiel that was born in January, its not that great but i am letting them get used to the place before i do more photos...be happy.

PS the father bird has not escaped any more since he lost his tail feathers...
