Well to Here's one of Allens' points come to life. He posted a coment to would be breeders to "Be Prepared". Here's Why. One of my pairs are on thier first clutch so They are in new territory as far as their skill set goes. They managed to hatch all 5 of thier eggs. That's the good news. The bad news is that THAT makes the last to hatch 10 days younger than the first. An experienced pair would probably handle that fine but my tiny guy is being overlooked. He can't lift his head above the rest to get a nibble at feeding time. It appears that the little guy has named himself as they often do "Tiny"

I can see them. :D You might only have to feed him for a few days until he's strong enough to scream for food. I had a similar situation with budgies, 5 babies and the youngest being overlooked.

I do see a little bit of seed being given to him. When I check on them I put him on the edge of the clutch nearest the neastbox entrance. I still gave him a bit more and will check him again at 9.
