Hi all i am new here, i have two cockatiels, Buck and Kiki, i have a little concern with Buck he is 9 and has never been a good flyer, he crashed this morning and not he keeps holding his wing out, he is moving is fine up down all over the place, his is acting him self not making any odd sounds to say that he is in pain, he can streath is right out and in again, i am hoping it is just a sprain? what do you guys think? there is no vet open here for the weekend so am just keeping an eye on him for now, the wing is not drooping or anything like that he just keeps stretching is out and holding is a lot, he is cleaning and preening it like normail any advice? :ylw lovie:

Hello there and welcome to the forum!

Buck may have knocked a feather out of place and could be feeling uncomfortable. If he can move his wing fine and is not showing signs of being in pain it should come right on its own. If not, a vet visit would be a good idea in case his wing has been damaged. Are you able to towel him to get a good look at the wing?
