I brought home my new boys today. They have settled in really well and seem to be quite happy. They are oh so cute and between 8-10 weeks old.

Thanks... Nope, they haven't been dna tested, so don't really know for sure. I just liked the names and hoped they were boys. That's what I asked for when I bought them, but I know you can't really tell at this age, so I'm only guessing lol Still cute but

:D I like the names you picked too!! I've had a boy budgie called Lilly and a girl called Jeremy before, i wasn't very good at telling the sex of young budgies back then. :p So if it turns out you have a boy and a girl or two girls even i don't think they'll mind you keeping the names. ;)

Thanks all...

They weren't hand raised, not real tame. They huff and puff when I first go near them (think thats what you call hissing but it sounds more like when you blow air through your nose lol) I've been putting my hand in their cage, and bert has sat on it :) Neither of them has bitten me so far though! I wasn't real fussed if they turned out to be male/female. I've also had budgies called John, Paul, George & Ringo and three of them turned out to be girls lol... I don't think they know they have a boys name :p
