I was wondering if anyone could help me with my tiels and what I should do.
I got my female Luna (17 weeks) two weeks ago and she has been great, but I got my male Levi (9 weeks) yesterday and Luna has been pecking at him and generally bullying him. He has lost some feathers on his head and is very timid so I suspect he was bullied by the other birds at his breeders. I am watching them as much as I can and pulling them apart but Luna is very persistent.
I separated them but they were both complaining and not happy about being in different cages. These are my first birds so I am unsure what the best action is and I don't want to make any mistakes.
Please help.

Sadly, some birds just don't like each other. This may or may not be your case. With the pecking and loss of feathers I would for sure keep them in separate cages for a while. Let them both out together to play but keep a close eye on them and see how that goes. If the situation improves ( while out together ) you could TRY caging them together again. Good luck and hope this helps.
