Hi I just got my cocktail a couple days ago and the other day he jumped of the cage and it looks like there’s a little purple spot on his foot I think it might be a bruise from the jump should I be concerned or will it go away he is 1 and a half month old.

He seems VERY young. I think he is fine. If you touch his foot does he react in pain?

Yes kind of he backs away he is limping its purple we're the joint on the foot is we're all the toes connected the

If he is limping that is the sign that he needs a vet!

I don't know.. But I would recommend calling a free vet ask them and they will tell u what to do!
Good luck!
But remember young birds are resilient! They crash all the time! When they try to fly it is just crashes!
But rather safe then sorry!

I’m more confident now knowing that since he is so young he will heal quickly but thank you so much for the info I will try to contact a vet.
