My Cockateils feathers under its crest are missing can u please help . Will it grow back ???. And what is it’s age please reply guys

He looks quite young. It depends on how the feathers came out. If he was plucked quite bad, the feathers might not all come back. I had a chick that was plucked right behind his crest because of his father, and it took about a month before the feathers returned. Just give it time, and they should grow back soon enough.

Thank u but he doesn’t pluck his feathers ..... he is a happy bird 😀😀

I'm not saying he plucked his feathers because they can't reach back there. If he has another cage mate or if his parents plucked his head, then that is the most likely reason that he is bald back there. Thankfully, the feathers will grow back in time.

It does look young, so it's feathers probably will grow. But it might not, because my friend's old cockatiel (Ringo the Lutino) had a bald spot that never grew back. Sadly he flew away
