Mutation abbreviations:

Many times you may notice that a person will use initials or abbrviations to describe the mutation (color) of the tiel they have. if you are not familiar with the mutations this can get confusing.

N=Normal

P=Pearl

pD=Pied

L=Lutino

C=Cinnamon

WF=Whiteface

F=Fallow

RS= Recessive Silver

DS=Dominat Silver, which there is SF (Single Factor) and DF (Double Factor) So many use the terms SFDS or DFDS (for orange cheeked) and WF-SFDS or WF-DFDS if also WF

DYC=Dominant Yellow Cheek

SLYC= Sex-Linked Yellow Cheek

GC= Gold Cheek

PF=Pastelface

EM= Emerald, AKA, Olive

For further confuse the issue you may see something like this: N/WF,F,pD....and wonder what it means.
N=Normal
The / symbol designates the splits the bird is carrying.
In the example the normal is split to (/) whiteface, Fallow and Pied
