I am wondering what metals other then stainless steel are safe for a cockatiel. I'm thinking of giving those DIY toys a try. Thanks

Nickel plated is used in a lot of bird toys also.

I have also seen aluminum starting to be used for travel cages ect. I think that stainless steel would be the best but you could also use nickle plated as well.

Does anyone know where I can get those plastic do-dads that some of the toys have to hang them with. I'll see what I can find on the internet also. Thanks again.
