She’s 13-14 months old. I think it’s a she because she still has tail barring and yellow spots on her wings( hen marks?). She’s made this noise for as long as I’ve had her( I got her when she was 3-4) months old. She usually makes these noises when she’s pretty content and has nothing to do or when she wants to butt in while everyone else is talking. Is this normal? And is this a happy sound? Do I need to be worried? It’s a weird squeaky sound like when you’re cleaning glass. She usually did this when she’s alone or with me and stops as soon as somebody pays her attention. But for the past few weeks she’s started doing this when she’s in the living room with the whole family and this evening is was pretty loud. I could hear her in my room all the way from the living room.
